• “Sweetheart, take a nap. I will wake you up when lunch is ready. Do you want something to drink?” asked her husband smiling at her. Victoria smiled back at him and replied, “I want you to hold me in your arms, don’t you want to greet your babies?” Mark smiled mischievously and replied, “I don’t want to tire you up, I will greet our babies tonight.” Victoria smiled beautifully at him; Mark held his wife in his arms and kissed her gentle. Mark placed his wife’s head on the pillow, then he left the bed when he saw that his wife was sleeping soundly. He took his digital photo frame to look at their photos again. He was smiling from ear to ear. His wife gave him the most wonderful gift. He would put it on his desk at work.
• At that moment, he received a WhatsApp message from his brother Jonathan telling him that James had sent 99 red roses to his sister-in-law and asked for a second chance. He sent him the roses’ photo. Mark smiled when he saw the roses. He used to be scared that his beautiful wife would leave him to remarry James. However, his lovely wife told him that she didn’t love James and she would never go back to him. Then he stopped being jealous of James. Mark thanked his brother for letting him know. He promised his lovely wife to buy a holiday house here in Durban, so he contacted his real estate agent and told him that he was looking for a stand-alone house near the beach. His real estate agent told him that he had a five-bedroom house in Ballito, a walkable distance to the beach, 10 minutes’ drive to Ballito Shopping Mall, easy access control. He told Mark that the owner was planning to go overseas to stay with her daughter. The house is fully furnished. “Mark, her husband passed away six months ago and her daughter asked her to emigrate to London. I have sent so many people to view this house, but the owner declined their offers. The price range around that area is between two million rands and three million rands. It seems as if she is waiting for someone, but I will take you there to have a look maybe she will sell it to you.” Mark smiled and replied, “I have a secret weapon, my beautiful wife, she will charm her, then she will sell her house to us. Please make an appointment to view the house at 2:30 pm.” His real estate agent was saying in his heart Mark would charm the owner with his handsomeness. He promised to fetch them at 2:10 pm.
• When he looked at his watch, it was 12:45 pm. He woke up his wife with a kiss. Victoria smiled and walked to the bathroom to wash her face and brushed her teeth. Mark told him about the house. Victoria was so excited. Then they headed down to the dining room to eat. Chef Ray had prepared pork ribs, garlic bread and grilled Cajun chicken salad with creamy Cajun dressing for lunch. The food was mouth-watering. Victoria praised him for preparing delicious food for them. They went back to their bedroom to wear formal clothes. Mark was wearing a black suit and Victoria was wearing a navy dress. They walked to the living room to wait for the real estate agent.
